Kill the Reflection = Music for Broken People
Singer/Songwriter/Producer - Morgan Routt.

Morgan Routt - Born in Glasgow Ky 1978. Now located in Oklahoma City. The descendant of a long line of Irish white witches, and Italian gypsies. Knowing that the center is the axis of all things, he relocated to Oklahoma City and can still be found lurking on these streets today. He brings a fresh look and sound to otherwise empty town. A hum rattles inside my brain like a dripping faucet, broken beats and rhythmatic tones echo about and seem to hypnotize my bleeding brain. It's a sound that never sleeps and screams to be written down.

"I wasn't just bored or looking for a hobby, I really feel compelled to let these feelings out. And the more I see my thoughts and visions on paper or in photo or music playback, the more I can analyze and try and figure it all out. Plus it helps me remember a struggle. Sometimes I feel like I'm just trying to create my own favorite band because I don't hear what I want in today's music, not that it's not there because if you look hard enough you can still find it. I don't expect everyone to agree with what I consider beautiful, because I know I have sick way of finding beauty in thing's, so not everyone will get it. I just hope that I can distill some level of comfort in the people that do get it."

Kill the Reflection would like to violate your ears, with the haunting sounds of music for broken people. We would love to take you in, offer you a warm bath and feed you. We know you deserve the best. Plus we made your favorites! You can take it out on us, we don't mind. We have so much in common and yet so many different stories to tell. Yes, You definitely have a friend in us. Most importantly, we would like for you to just listen and imagine a world where your not alone. See, now don't you feel better?

Already a welcomed and honored artist in the Oklahoma City area, with promise of much more. Creative music that will haunt your life with intense and almost cryptic vocals interloomed with melodic tones and natural sounds.

KTR is currently working on a new album for distribution 2007. I will improve the sound for the willing ear. The gaps will be filled and wounds healed with each transition I conceive. Expect only the best, for new projects are on the rise and this is but the beginning of a long awaited birth.
